Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew — Lewis & Clark Herbarium

The Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew in London, England, holds a portion of the Lewis and Clark botanical specimens. The herbarium contains pressed plant specimens collected during the expedition, representing some of the first scientific documentation of the flora of the American West. These specimens traveled across the Atlantic as part of the international scientific exchange that followed the expedition.
