Lewis & Clark: November 10, 1803

Lewis and Clark continued from Clarksville down the Ohio River with their growing company of recruits. They passed Fort Massac, an old French fortification on the Illinois shore, where they recruited George Drouillard, a skilled frontiersman and interpreter who would prove invaluable throughout the expedition.
