Lewis & Clark: November 24, 1803

Lewis and Clark continued up the Mississippi River toward the mouth of the Missouri. The Mississippi’s strong current made progress slow, but the crew was gaining experience working together that would serve them well on the Missouri. They passed the settlements of Cape Girardeau and Ste. Genevieve.
